Call for Papers

The Upstate New York Women’s History Organization (UNYWHO) seeks individual paper and panel proposals for a conference March 7, 2009, at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. We invite proposals covering any aspect of women’s and gender history, defined broadly to include all nations/continents, time periods, and related disciplines, and we encourage scholars from across New York State and around the region to participate. The keynote speaker will be Professor Leigh Ann Wheeler, Binghamton University. Proposals due October 1, 2008. Please email questions and proposals to Carol Faulkner, cfaulkne@maxwell.syr.edu.
